Children’s July 2017 School Holiday Sewing Programme
Come and experience the joy of creative sewing in a relaxed and fun environment. Explore colour and design while becoming skilled in machine and hand sewing techniques.
These holiday workshops introduce the child to the basics of machine and hand sewing.
Some of the projects available are:
Bring along your interesting cotton fabrics and matching threads and we can play around with fabric colours and patterns to make the project of your choice. If you wish, I can provide pre-cut fabric for the Log Cabin Bag, ready to sew at an additional cost of $25.00. Maximum class size 6 students.
Current students or returning students wishing to enrol are welcome to bring along their own patterns and projects. If your child has seen a project in my studio which is not illustrated here, please contact me for a fabric requirement list.
Option 1: Tues 4th, Wed 5th & Thurs 6th July 9.00 am – 12 noon $185.00
Option 2: Tues 4th, Wed 5th & Thurs 6th July 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm $185.00
Option 3: Tues 11th, Wed 12th & Thurs 13th July 9.00 am – 12 noon $185.00
Option 4: Tues 11th, Wed 12th & Thurs 13th July 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm $185.00
Each option includes morning/afternoon tea.
A Pfaff sewing machine is provided free of charge for each child and two overlockers are also available.
