Bring along your interesting fabrics and threads and we can play around with colours and patterns to make clothing, fabulous cushions and other homewares, handbags, toys, quilts, Christmas decorations, appliquéd wall art etc. I can help you with any project you are currently working on or offer suggestions to help you get started. All sewing skills such as dressmaking, learning how to read patterns, inserting zips, button holes, over-locking, hemming, hand sewing, alterations, revamping clothing and more are taught as required. I work with your current capabilities and help you to extend your skills. Classes are suitable for the absolute beginner and those with more sewing experience. Small classes ensure that I am able to give focused attention to each student. I have many patterns to inspire you, or bring along your own. Come along to sew, learn new skills and have fun in a relaxed environment! A Pfaff sewing machine is provided free of charge for each student and two over-locker machines are also available for student use.
