Adults Creative Sewing Classes – Term 1, 2026

Come along to sew, learn new skills and have fun in a relaxed environment!

Classes are suitable for the absolute beginner and those with more sewing experience. Small classes ensure that I am able to give focused attention to each student. All sewing skills such as dressmaking, learning how to read patterns,  simple pattern making, inserting zips, button holes, over-locking, hemming, hand sewing, alterations, revamping clothing and more are taught as required. I work with your current capabilities and help you to extend your skills.

Bring along your patterns, fabric and thread and I can show you how to make adult’s and children’s clothing, fabulous cushions and other home-wares, handbags, toys, quilts, Christmas decorations, appliquéd wall art etc. I can help you with any project you are currently working on or offer suggestions to help you get started. 

Small Classes – Maximum 5 Students

A Pfaff sewing machine is provided free of charge for each student and two over-locker machines are also available for student use.
